1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Think Track Edu Private Limited (operating as "India LearnX", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you visit our website, sign up for a trial, or use the India LearnX platform.
We are an Indian company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with GST registration 08AALCT7919H1ZS, located at Flat No. 507, Acaccia Apartment, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302017.
We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable Indian laws governing personal data.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to provide the India LearnX service and improve it over time.
Information you provide directly
- Parent / account holder: Name, mobile number, email address, child's grade (Class 8, 9, or 10).
- Payment information: Processed entirely by Razorpay, our payment gateway. We do not store your card number, CVV, UPI ID, or net-banking credentials on our servers. We only receive a transaction reference and amount from Razorpay.
- Customer support communications: Messages you send us via email, WhatsApp, or in-app support.
Information we collect automatically
- Device and usage data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, pages visited, time spent, clicks, and referring source.
- Learning activity: Which lessons your child watches, quiz answers, time on each concept (used to power AI weak-area diagnostics).
- Cookies and similar technologies: See section 6.
3. How we use your information
We use the information described above for these purposes:
- To deliver the India LearnX service (account creation, login, course access, content recommendations)
- To process payments and send tax invoices via Razorpay
- To communicate with you about your subscription, support requests, and important service updates
- To send promotional messages about India LearnX (only with your consent — you can opt out anytime)
- To power AI-based diagnostics that identify learning gaps in Science and Math
- To detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- To comply with applicable Indian law
4. Information about children
India LearnX is designed for school students in Class 8–10 (typically ages 13–16). Enrollment and payment are completed by a parent or legal guardian. Children do not enroll themselves.
In compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023:
- We require verifiable parental consent before processing personal data of any user under 18.
- We do not engage in targeted advertising directed at children.
- We do not track children for the purpose of profiling them for advertising.
- Learning analytics about a child's performance are visible only to the parent who enrolled them and to authorised India LearnX staff for the purpose of providing the service.
- Parents may, at any time, request that we delete all data about their child by emailing privacy@indialearnx.com.
5. When we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these specific cases:
- Service providers: Razorpay (payments), Google (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics), Meta (advertising performance measurement only — see section 6), Microsoft Clarity (anonymised session analytics).
- Legal requirement: If required by a valid order from an Indian court, regulatory authority, or government agency.
- Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets — with notice to you.
All our service providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the purposes for which we engaged them.
6. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you logged in to your account
- Remember your preferences
- Analyse aggregate website traffic via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity (session recordings are anonymised and stripped of sensitive form inputs)
- Measure the performance of our advertising via Meta Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the website may not work correctly.
7. Your rights under Indian law
Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or outdated data
- Erase your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent for processing at any time
- Grievance redressal — if you have a complaint, we will respond within 30 days
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity

8. Data retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as needed:
- Active accounts: For the duration of your subscription, plus 12 months
- Payment and tax records: 8 years (as required by Indian tax law)
- Marketing communications consent: Until you withdraw consent
- Anonymous analytics data: Up to 26 months (Google Analytics default)
After these periods, we delete or anonymise the data.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest, access controls limiting which staff can view personal data, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure — if a data breach occurs that may affect you, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities within the timelines required by the DPDP Act.
